Unitized: This is one of the biggest characteristics of shrink film packaging. With the help of the super strong winding force and retraction of the film, the product is tightly bundled into a unit to make the scattered small pieces a whole, even in the unfavorable environment, without any dispersion and separation, degree without sharp edges and stickiness, so as not to cause damage.
Primary protection: the primary protection provides the surface protection of the product, and forms a very light, protective appearance around the product, so as to achieve dust proof, oil proof, moisture proof, waterproof, and anti-theft purposes. It is particularly important that the wrapping of the wrapped film makes the packaging uniform force and avoid the damage caused by uneven force, which is not possible in the traditional packing methods (packing, packing, tape and so on).
Contraction film compression fixity: the product is wrapped and wrapped with the retracting force after the winding film stretching, forming a compact, non space unit whole, making the product pallets tightly wrapped together, effectively preventing the mutual dislocation and movement of the products during the transportation, and the adjustable tensile force can make the hard work hard. Tight products make soft products shrink, especially in tobacco industry and textile industry.
Cost saving: the use of winding film for product packaging, can effectively reduce the cost of use, using winding film only about 15% of the original box package, heat shrinkable film about 35%, carton packaging of about 50%. At the same time, it can reduce workers' labor intensity, improve packaging efficiency and packaging quality.
Material selection.
The printing of the shrinkable film label has been briefly analyzed, which affects the quality of the material in addition to the control of the printing process. The material is crucial, so it is the key to choose the right material. So how do you choose?
(1) material thickness. According to the application area, cost, film characteristics, shrinkage performance, printing process and labeling process requirements, the thickness of the film material is determined. It is generally required that the thickness of the film for making shrink film labels should be 30-70 microns, and the specifications of the commonly used films are two microns and 50 microns, respectively. The thickness of the films is two.
(2) the shrinkage of material. Membrane shrinkage is generally applied, and transverse (TD) shrinkage is higher than longitudinal (MD) shrinkage. The transverse shrinkage rate of commonly used materials is 50% ~ 52% and 60% ~ 62%, which can reach 90% under special circumstances. The longitudinal shrinkage rate is 6% to 8%. When making shrinkage film labels, we should try to choose materials with short longitudinal shrinkage.
(3) the environmental protection of the material. The main materials used for heat shrinkable film are various thermoplastic films. At first, with the PVC shrinkage film, with the continuous development of market demand, the shrinkage film of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) decreased gradually, and various PE, PP, PET (polyester), PETG (modified polyester), PVDC, OPS (oriented polystyrene), OPP, POF and other multilayer coextrusion heat shrinkable films developed rapidly and became the mainstream of the market. They have their own characteristics in terms of shrinkage characteristics, environmental protection and so on. When choosing, they should consider comprehensively the specific application of products. Although the domestic market is still dominated by PVC, with the gradual increase of environmental protection requirements, the application of environmentally benign thin films will be more and more extensive.
